Chairman of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), Lumir Abdixhiku, confirmed that his party will participate in the working group established to prepare the defense at the second level of the Special Court.

Abdixhiku said he had asked the head of the LDK parliamentary group to propose academic Kujtim Shala as the group’s representative. If Shala is unable to participate, he said, the representative will most certainly be Jehona Lushaku-Sadriu herself.
He said that the LDK supports joint national efforts in this regard, as long as Kosovo’s citizens are not given false expectations through initiatives that have no legal effect. Under these conditions, Abdixhiku added, any other effort is acceptable.
