Various businesses in Tirana have expressed solidarity with the protests by students and young people, displaying messages at their premises to show their support for their cause.

“We are with you, don’t harm us,” is the message conveyed by the businesses, while their shutters remain closed.

The reaction comes at a time when protests in the capital have been accompanied by tensions, clashes and damage to several businesses and institutions.
