A criminal complaint has been filed against A.A. by the Department of Internal Control, Criminal Investigations and Professional Standards, which operates within the Ministry of Internal Affairs, on suspicion of document forgery.

The case has been referred to the Public Prosecutor’s Office for the Prosecution of Organized Crime and Corruption, specifically to the specialized unit that handles criminal offenses committed by people with police powers and prison police officers.
The person under investigation works in the Department for the Protection of Personalities and Designated Facilities at the Ministry of Internal Affairs. He is suspected of creating and using two fictitious blood donation certificates, even though records show that he did not donate blood on March 3 and July 9, 2026, at the Institute of Blood Transfusion, located near the “Mother Teresa” hospital complex.
According to the preliminary investigation, using these documents he applied twice to receive three days of paid leave for each instance. Specifically, the leave days he requested were March 3, 4 and 5, as well as July 9, 10 and 13, 2026.
