Petar Petkoviq, who heads Serbia’s negotiating team, has criticized Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti for calling for the implementation of the 2011 Cadastre Agreement. According to Petkoviq, Kurti wants that agreement implemented but refuses to implement the agreement on the Association of Serb-Majority Municipalities (ZSO).

In his response, Petkoviq denied that Belgrade was responsible for the failure to implement the cadastre agreement, blaming Pristina instead. He claimed that Kosovo’s authorities had invalidated the agreement to legalize what he described as the unlawful appropriation of Serbian property.
Petkoviq said this would not be allowed, despite the damage he claims Borko’s agreement has caused them.
Referring to the origins of the 2011 Cadastre Agreement, he said it had been negotiated by Borko Stefanoviq, whom he described as a representative of those staging blockades. Petkoviq contrasted Kurti’s stance on that agreement with his refusal to implement the agreement on the Association, which he credited Serbian President Aleksandar Vuçiq with securing.
Petkoviq claimed that Kurti accepts only agreements that harm Serbs. He asserted that this was clear to everyone and that it was precisely why Kosovo’s prime minister had been avoiding the Association for 13 years.
His criticism also extended to students taking part in protests in Serbia. Petkoviq claimed that they had Kurti’s support and that, if they came to power, they would cause further harm to Serbia.
Concluding his response, Petkoviq said Belgrade would prevent what he called such scenarios from becoming reality.
