CMC: Of 46 open-area fires, seven remain active and one is under control

The Crisis Management Center announced that, as of 7:30 a.m., a total of 46 open-area fires had been registered. Seven of them remain active, one has been brought under control, while the rest have been extinguished.

The active fires have been reported in the “Nad Borovite” area, with one front moving from the villages of Tatar Elevci and Korab and another from the village of Banjishte, in the municipality of Dibër. Fires have also been reported near the village of Jabolçishtë, in the municipality of Čaška; near the village of Strima, in the municipality of Likovë; above Lake Bogovina in the Šar Mountains; at the Krasta landfill in Kumanovo; near the village of Dobroveni, in the municipality of Novaci; and in the area between the villages of Belçishtë and Lesani, in the municipality of Debarca.
