Speaking at the international partnership conference for change, “Women Transforming Systems,” Kurti announced that 63 percent of those recently employed in the public administration are women. He added that women make up 50 percent of the boards of public enterprises.
“Equality is not only a promise; it is work, decision-making and budgeting,” he said.
Kurti also stressed that empowering women is linked not only to gender equality but also to the country’s development.
“As the executive branch, we have supported women,” the prime minister said.
