Rrustem Mustafa, a member of parliament from the Democratic Party of Kosovo, said on Tëvë1’s “Mesditë” program that he believes the issue of the law on the Specialist Chambers could be resolved before October 6.

“We must continue processing the law we have agreed on, which is now with the government, on Mr. Kurti’s desk. The priority for the country is to respond to the evil bloc’s orchestrated attack on our mechanisms and institutions. I am convinced this can be done before the sixth; the prime minister has said the same,” Mustafa said.
Asked whether there had been positive signals from the prime minister on this issue, Mustafa said there had.
He also spoke about his meeting with Prime Minister Albin Kurti, which took place before September 16.
“I spoke with Mr. Kurti before September 16, and it went well. We discussed institutional cooperation between the Democratic Party and Vetëvendosje, and I know there are many possibilities,” Mustafa said.
Mustafa added that the adoption of the joint statement on the conviction in The Hague gives him hope.
