The protest by residents of the oil-bearing villages in the Marinza area moved this morning to the front of satellite site 3 of the Bankers Petroleum company.

Two days earlier, the protest held near the offices at the extraction site did not lead to any negotiations with the company’s representatives.
Faced with this inaction, the residents unanimously declared they would continue the protest by blocking the sites. As they had warned, they gathered today in front of satellite site three and forcibly opened the gate.
They unanimously declared they will not allow the land lease value to be halved from 4 million per dynym to 2 million.
The protesters are now inside the premises of satellite site three, where they are attempting to block operations.
