During an interview on the “Click Plus” show on TV21, the vice-president of the Democratic Union for Integration, Bujar Osmani, announced that his political formation has begun preparations for an early parliamentary electoral process expected to take place in the spring of 2027.

Answering the question whether BDI and OBRM-PDUKM have reached any agreement for elections in April, Osmani acknowledged that there have been exchanges of communication with this party, but avoided providing details on a possible concrete deal.
“We aim for elections. Naturally, there has been communication in various forms with OBRM-PDUKM as well, and we do not encounter opposition. We expect the elections to take place in the spring of 2027 and we are preparing for that,” Osmani stressed.
Continuing the interview, Osmani also addressed the issue of former first deputy prime minister Artan Grubi, who is facing justice for the “Lotaria” affair. According to him, it is a meaningless decision for Grubi to stand trial for an act that was a collective decision of the Government, recalling that for such decisions the Administrative Court and the Constitutional Court have jurisdiction.
Osmani added that now is the moment for attention to shift from the spectacle being created around the event and to rely on concrete facts.
