The signing ceremony took place during an official visit to Kosovo by Major General Jasper Jeffers, who leads ISF Gaza, accompanied by his team. The event was attended by Minister of Defense Ejup Maqedonci, along with members of the Board of Peace.
Major General Jeffers praised the step taken and Kosovo’s willingness to join this international initiative, underscoring the importance of the Kosovo Security Force’s engagement in operations for peace, protection and regional balance.
He also expressed his respect for Kosovo’s leadership and for the seriousness demonstrated by the country’s institutions in supporting this mission.
Meanwhile, the head of the Kosovo Security Force, Lieutenant General Jashari, thanked Major General Jeffers for his consideration and cooperative spirit, affirming that participation in international security missions is in line with Kosovo’s ambition to make a tangible contribution to the advancement of peace and global order.
Jashari said that the Kosovo Security Force aims to gradually expand its presence on the global security stage, with a clearly defined strategic objective: transforming Kosovo from a state that receives security into a country that produces and exports it.
“Through a dynamic contribution to the creation and maintenance of peace and security, in partnership with our allies and international partners,” the Kosovo Security Force said in an official statement.
The signing of this agreement, according to the institution, marks a key moment in consolidating Kosovo’s position as a proactive actor in global missions aimed at promoting peace, security and stability.
