Xhevat Dajaku warns about circulating letter: It could fuel lynching and violence

Xhevat Dajaku, the brother of the late Besim Dajaku, has reacted to a letter circulating online, which he called a “Fletë Rrufe.”

He warned that its content spreads fear, insecurity, lynching and violence. Dajaku stressed that convicted persons must answer for their deeds and should not be identified with the KLA or Kosovo.

“Someone comes up with the idea, someone writes it, someone distributes it and someone carries it out,” he wrote.

In his response, Dajaku described the letter as a text passed from hand to hand that calls for lynching and bloodshed while creating fear and insecurity—a way of acting that, according to him, belongs only to communist bloodthirsty killers.

He said its wording was deliberately crafted to threaten all those who believe in and hope for justice. According to Dajaku, the opening lines have nothing to do with the rest, because the convicted persons are not the blood of the martyrs, are not the KLA and are not Kosovo; they are no more than their deeds, just as each person is judged by their own deeds.

Dajaku also warned that such a “Fletë Rrufe” could give a madman the right to strike another person with a stick, bullet or knife, believing that he was performing a heroic act. In this way, according to him, a chain of crime is created: one person comes up with the idea, another writes it, someone distributes it and someone carries it out.
