Today, students protesting against the government outside the Ministry of Education also directed chants at the opposition, objecting to the presence of its representatives at their rally.
“Democratic Party, how have you sold out all these years!” and “Sold-out opposition” were the chants shouted in unison by the students, expressing their dissatisfaction with the Democratic Party and rejecting political involvement in their protest.

The Democrats’ joining the young people also led to clashes within the crowd, as the students rejected the presence of MPs and other figures from political parties.
The students say that political parties, including the Democratic Party, are exploiting their cause and trying to portray the protest as their own rather than as a protest by young people.
