Protesters stop in front of the Democratic Party headquarters, strong calls against Rama and Berisha

The civic revolt in the capital has entered its 39th day, marking a new escalation in which criticism has been directed indiscriminately at the country’s main political figures, both those in power and the opposition. After passing the buildings of government institutions, the protesters continued their march through the streets of Tirana and also stopped in front of the central headquarters of the Democratic Party.

As they passed by the purchased headquarters, the irritated citizens raised their voices with harsh chants, accusing the opposition leadership of lining up alongside those in power.

Today, the protest clearly showed the public’s deep dissatisfaction with the entire old political class. In front of the offices of the Democratic Party, chants were heard in unison: “Rama, Sala, f*ck you!” and “Sold-out opposition!”, with protesters holding both sides responsible for the situation the country is in.
