Two Volkswagen vehicles were involved in a collision in Vrion, Saranda. The accident caused only property damage, with no injuries reported.
The vehicles involved were driven by Spyros Kentros, with registration plate IKX7066, and Eranda Budo, with registration plate AB084RL. They collided on a straight stretch of road in Vrion, near the parking area of a children’s playground.

Preliminary investigations suggest the collision was caused by an improper overtaking manoeuvre by the vehicle with registration plate IKX7066, driven by Spyros Kentros.
Saranda traffic police arrived at the scene immediately after the accident. Spyros Kentros and Eranda Budo were tested for alcohol, and both returned a reading of 0.00 mg/l.
Police procedures are continuing to fully document the circumstances of the collision.
