Collision on the Fier-Shegan axis, three people end up in hospital after a dangerous overtaking

A serious accident has recently occurred on the national road segment between Pushimi i Shoferit and Fier Shegan, specifically near the village of Rrupaj. According to initial reports, a car with Greek license plates was involved in a head-on collision with another vehicle, after allegedly making a wrong overtaking maneuver.

As a result of this dangerous move, the car with Italian license plates went off the road and ended up in a roadside ditch. Inside were three passengers: a married couple and their adult son. The injured were immediately transported to Lushnja Hospital by two ambulances to receive medical assistance.

Police forces have arrived at the scene and are conducting the necessary investigations to clarify the full circumstances of the collision. Meanwhile, officers are also managing traffic in the area.

This road axis has long been known as a highly dangerous segment. The limited road width, combined with heavy traffic, often turns this spot into a scene of frequent accidents.
