After a series of investigative measures and actions, police officers from the Kočani and Vinica police departments arrested V.Z. (26) and D.S. (43), both residents of Kočani. They are suspected of involvement in several criminal offenses.

According to the Macedonian Ministry of Interior, the offenses are suspected to have been committed during August and September of this year in the territories of Kočani, Vinica, Delčevo, Makedonska Kamenica, and Probištip. The cases involve seven aggravated thefts from residential and business premises, three attempted aggravated thefts from homes, business premises, and passenger vehicles, as well as one case of obstructing evidence, for which V.Z. is suspected.
By court order, police conducted searches at the homes of the two suspects, where they found and seized items believed to originate from the mentioned criminal offenses.
The Ministry of Interior announced that, after the full documentation of the cases is completed, appropriate charges will be filed against the two individuals.
