Three people rescued in Velipojë after suffering a technical fault on their vessel at sea and risking drowning

Three people were rescued without injuries after the vessel they were traveling on suffered a technical fault at sea, in the Velipojë area.

According to the Border Police, immediately after receiving notification of a vessel stranded at sea due to a technical fault, police services headed to its location and towed the vessel back to shore.

Immediately after receiving notification of a vessel that had broken down at sea, Border Police services headed to its location.

After arriving at the scene, it was found that the vessel was being operated by citizen I. H., who was unable to continue sailing due to a technical fault. Two other citizens were also on board.

To guarantee the safety of the people on the vessel and avoid any possible danger, Border Police services towed the vessel back to shore.

All three citizens were assisted by Border Police officers and transported safely to land, with no health problems or physical injuries.

After the rescue operation was completed, the vessel was brought ashore. Checks carried out showed that the vessel’s documentation was in order.
