The protest march moves to the Foreign Ministry, citizens chant: Rama to prison, Berisha to prison!

The citizens’ revolt in the capital has taken another turn. After leaving the Prime Minister’s Office, the protesters continued marching without stopping, suddenly heading toward the building of the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs.

While earlier the chants had been focused on the head of government, the crowd has now turned its attention to the entire political class of the transition period.

In front of the Foreign Ministry building, participants joined their voices in a clear message, making no distinction between the ruling majority and the traditional opposition:

The chants “Rama to prison, Berisha to prison!” echoed throughout the area for several minutes. The protesters continue to repeat the same demand: “Rama, resign, your end has come!”
