The Mysterious Death of Charles McGonigal’s Former Partner: The Messages Allison Guerriero Published Shortly Before Her Death

The death of Charles McGonigal’s former partner, Allison Guerriero, is shrouded in mystery, while her father says that “she could never have taken her own life.”

Shortly before her death, she had been extremely active on social media. According to U.S. media, she had made around 75 posts in which she commented on the McGonigal case and made allegations involving other federal officials as well.

In one of the posts, she wrote briefly: “The FBI is evil.”

Guerriero openly expressed her dissatisfaction with the FBI, while in a video posted on social media she appeared walking down the street and calling for public attention to also focus on the activities of other U.S. government officials.

The case has brought renewed attention to the story of Charles McGonigal, the former head of counterintelligence at the FBI’s New York office, who ended up at the center of one of the most high-profile scandals of recent years.

McGonigal was convicted in the United States of criminal offenses related to his financial dealings with Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska, while another case concerned his concealment of payments he had received from a former Albanian intelligence official.

Guerriero’s name was mentioned during investigations and reports concerning the activities of her former partner. She had communicated with U.S. authorities and provided information about McGonigal’s activities.

In 2019, according to documents and previous reports, Guerriero was questioned by the FBI in connection with her former partner and his activities.

The case has also attracted particular attention in Albania because of McGonigal’s contacts with Prime Minister Edi Rama.

Guerriero had spoken publicly about these contacts and said that McGonigal had told her he would travel to Albania to meet with Rama.

She had also alleged that the two had a friendly relationship and that the former U.S. official had communicated with the Albanian prime minister.

According to the U.S. criminal case, McGonigal had concealed certain information from the FBI regarding his relationships and payments. He had also been involved in discussions concerning Russian investments in Albania’s oil sector.

Edi Rama has denied any wrongdoing or involvement in illegal activities related to his relationship with McGonigal.

Meanwhile, Guerriero continued to speak publicly about the case even after the legal proceedings against the former FBI official had concluded.

In her final posts on X, she made further allegations and called for other people who, according to her, had links to U.S. federal authorities to also be investigated.

However, the circumstances of her death remain unclear. According to reports, Guerriero was found dead at her home in South Florida.

The fact that she had been active on social media just a few hours earlier has attracted attention, but so far there is no publicly available information indicating that her death was connected to McGonigal, the Albanian case or any person she had mentioned.

The official cause of death and the full circumstances of the incident are expected to be determined by U.S. authorities.
