Suspected explosive device at the Bus Station in Prishtina, what has been made known so far?

An alert about a suspected explosive device was reported on Monday afternoon at the Bus Station in Prishtina.

According to the Police spokesperson for the Prishtina region, Flora Ahmeti, the information was received at around 18:00, and immediately afterward the police began implementing the necessary security measures.

Ahmeti stated: “As soon as we received the information, the police responded by securing the area. Citizens were evacuated within a certain perimeter, while the relevant units were engaged in handling and verifying the information.”

Even around three hours after the case was reported, the police continued to remain on the ground, carrying out actions to verify the information.

Earlier, Flora Ahmeti had said that after receiving the information at around 18:00, police units had responded by securing the area and taking the necessary steps for safety.
