Suspected Explosive Device at Pristina Bus Station, Police Evacuate the Area

On Monday afternoon, an alarm was reported at the Bus Station in Pristina over a suspected explosive device.

The news was confirmed by the Police spokesperson for the Pristina region, Flora Ahmeti, who said the information was received at around 18:00 and that the necessary safety measures were immediately taken.

“As soon as we received the information, the police responded by securing the area. Citizens were evacuated within a designated perimeter, while the relevant units were engaged in handling and verifying the information,” Ahmeti said.

Meanwhile, police continue their operation on the ground, while so far no further details have been provided about the nature of the suspected device.
