Survived 11 Days Under the Rubble, Mother and Her Three Children Rescued Alive in Venezuela

After 11 days trapped under the rubble, a mother and her three children were pulled out alive, in what is being considered one of the most extraordinary rescue operations following the powerful earthquakes that struck Venezuela on June 24.

The unusual case was recorded in La Guaira, one of the areas hit hardest by the seismic tremors. The family had been trapped under the rubble of a residential building that collapsed, while emergency teams continued searching for survivors.

According to authorities, throughout all the days of isolation, the mother managed to keep her three children alive by breastfeeding them and caring for them until the moment they were rescued.

After a long and intensive operation, rescue teams managed to locate the family and pull them out alive from the rubble, describing the case as a miracle amid a major catastrophe.

The earthquakes that shook Venezuela have left major consequences, with thousands of victims and injured, while many people are still listed as missing.
