After 11 days beneath the rubble of the earthquake in Venezuela, a mother and her three children are rescued alive

An extraordinary rescue operation in Venezuela ended with a mother and her three children being pulled out alive after they had remained trapped for 11 days under rubble following the powerful earthquakes that struck the country on June 24.

The unusual case was recorded in La Guaira, one of the areas hit hardest by the seismic tremors. After a residential building collapsed, the family was left isolated beneath the debris while emergency teams continued operations to find survivors.

Authorities said that throughout the time they were under the rubble, the mother managed to keep her three children alive by breastfeeding them and caring for them until the moment they were rescued.

After intensive searches, rescue teams managed to locate the family and pull them out alive, in a case described as a miracle amid a serious catastrophe.

The earthquakes that struck Venezuela have left major consequences, with thousands of victims and injured people, while a large number of people continue to be missing.

In addition to the human losses, the catastrophe has also caused considerable material damage. Tens of thousands of buildings have been destroyed or damaged, while thousands of families have been left homeless.

Meanwhile, authorities and experts warn that the situation could worsen even further due to the lack of drinking water and difficult hygiene and sanitation conditions in the affected areas, increasing the risk of the spread of infectious diseases.
