During the meeting, Hita appeared dissatisfied with the Shkodra Local Police, a directorate he led for almost four months in 2021.
Hita’s concerns relate to the clearance of murders, crime, criminal groups, the cultivation and trafficking of cannabis, road traffic and school security.
He called for better results from Shkodra Police, as well as greater effectiveness in cracking down on criminal groups and solving crimes that have occurred, particularly murders and drug cultivation, given that Shkodra continues to be a problematic county.
The meeting took place on the same day that a serious incident occurred in Shkodra: the murder of citizen Ylber Luli by the suspected perpetrator Andri Vulaj, whom police arrested immediately after the crime.
