Seven children from Kindergarten No. 10 in Vlorë have been taken to the pediatric department after showing symptoms consistent with food poisoning.
The cases were reported last night, when the children developed stomach pain and persistent vomiting.

Five of the seven children brought to the hospital were admitted and continue to receive medical treatment, while the other two received outpatient care.
Other parents have also raised concerns, confirming that their children showed the same symptoms but that they chose to treat them at home rather than take them to the hospital.
Initial suspicions point to possible poisoning from food eaten at the kindergarten, but the cause has not yet been confirmed.
After the children were brought in, the hospital notified the Institute of Public Health, whose specialists collected samples for laboratory testing. The results are expected to determine whether this was food poisoning and what may have caused it.
