More children develop gastrointestinal symptoms at Korçë kindergarten

The situation at a kindergarten in Korçë has worsened, with more children reported to have developed similar symptoms.

After six children received medical care at a hospital for gastrointestinal problems, sources say other children have also shown symptoms but have not been taken to the hospital for treatment.

Parents say the health problems appeared after the children ate lunch at the kindergarten. Some have reported their children’s symptoms, journalist Lorena Kodra reports.

Angry parents are calling for an immediate response from the responsible institutions. They want a full investigation into the circumstances and measures to ensure the children’s safety.

Authorities are continuing their investigation to determine whether the symptoms were caused by food eaten at the kindergarten or are linked to another factor.
