Serious incident in Maliq/ 43-year-old dies after vehicle slides and traps him while he was taking clothes from the trunk

A serious incident occurred moments ago in the village of Pojan, Maliq, where a 43-year-old man died after being struck from behind by a vehicle.

According to available information, the 43-year-old had stopped his car and was taking clothes from the trunk. However, the vehicle is suspected to have slid, and when he tried to stop it from behind, the car trapped him underneath.

The 43-year-old died as a result of his injuries. Police are at the scene working to fully clarify the circumstances.

At around 6:50 a.m., a gas cylinder exploded at the home of citizen Th. K., approximately 74 years old, in the village of Pojan. As a result of the explosion, citizen Th. K. suffered burns to his face. He is receiving medical treatment in hospital and is out of danger.

At around 7:10 a.m., in the city of Maliq, in the “Krastafilak” neighborhood, citizen I. K., 44, was loading several items into his vehicle. Because the vehicle had not been secured with the handbrake, it moved and trapped him underneath, causing his death.

Investigative teams have been formed for both incidents and are working to clarify their circumstances.
