Serious Incident in Fier/ Refit Buzi Releases Ex-Partner! Police Negotiating His Surrender

Refit Buzi, 35, who had taken his ex-partner Rozalinda Plaka hostage, released the 24-year-old a few hours after the grave crime against her family. Meanwhile, the police and RENEA forces are negotiating with the perpetrator for his surrender.

According to reports, the couple had been separated for some time, and he had been arrested several times for repeated threats against the young woman’s family.

The serious incident occurred on the morning of this Friday in the village of Vidhisht, Roskovec.

Police statement:

“Around 06:00, in the village of Vidhisht, Roskovec, it is suspected that citizen R. B., 35 years old, killed his former father-in-law, citizen K. P., 58 years old, with a hunting rifle, and wounded his former mother-in-law, citizen B. P., around 55 years old, who is in hospital under medical care.

Immediately after receiving the report, police services went to the scene, set up checkpoints, and launched a manhunt to apprehend the suspected perpetrator. Intensive checks continue for his localization and capture.

From initial investigative actions, it is suspected that after the incident, the perpetrator left the scene by vehicle together with his ex-wife, citizen R. P., taking the hunting weapon with him.

The investigative team is at the scene and, under the direction of the Prosecution, is working to fully clarify the circumstances and document the event legally,” police announced.
