Salianji at the protest in front of the Prime Minister’s Office: Citizens have overcome fear, change cannot be stopped by any machinery of power

Former PD MP Ervin Salianji joined the citizens’ protest held in front of the Prime Minister’s Office, describing it as an extraordinary protest and not simply a gathering of people.

According to him, this public turnout is a clear signal that fear has been brought down and that Albanian society has awakened. Salianji stressed that the boulevard has become the meeting point for young people, professionals, entrepreneurs, intellectuals, and ordinary citizens.

He said that people with different beliefs have gathered at this protest, but are united by a common goal: an Albania with dignity, with equal rules for everyone, with meritocracy, functional democracy, and institutions that serve the citizen, not those in power.

“When people lose their fear and gain faith in their own strength, no propaganda and no machinery of power can stop change. The boulevard is speaking and the voice of the citizens is stronger than any attempt to silence it,” Salianji said.
