Well-known singer and much loved by the public, Alban Skënderaj, has reacted with a lengthy message on social media, where he expresses his support for the civic protest, describing it as one of the most inspiring moments of the last 35 years in Albania.

According to the singer, the protest has already achieved an important victory, as it has awakened a civic awareness that, according to him, had been missing for years.

“The civic protest is without question an asset for everyone. It sets a new standard for the generations to come. Beyond every debate and every development that history will judge in its own time, I believe that this protest has already achieved a great victory; it has awakened a civic awareness that for many years seemed dormant,” Skënderaj writes.

He describes the protest as a movement that comes from ordinary citizens, acknowledging that in every cause there may be individuals or groups who try to use it for their own interests.

“Its true strength is not them. Its strength is ordinary people, honest people, those who have neither power nor interests, but only conscience and love for their country,” he emphasizes.
