“Rama Sent Taulant to Record My Home”/ Shehaj: Your Desperation Does Not Frighten Us

Agron Shehaj, leader of the Opportunity Party, has reacted to Socialist parliamentary group leader Taulant Balla after the latter made public information about the location of the home in Italy where his wife and children live.

In a video recorded outside the Prime Minister’s Office, Shehaj stated that the publication of his family members’ home address was carried out on the orders of Prime Minister Edi Rama.

“Today, Edi Rama sent Taulant Balla to my home. He filmed the house where my children and my wife stay during the summer, giving the address and pointing at it: here they are!” Shehaj said.

According to the leader of the Opportunity Party, the move is intended to silence the MPs of this political force and prevent them from exposing Rama’s corruption scandals.

Shehaj addressed Prime Minister Rama directly, stressing that opposition activity in Parliament will continue and that blackmail will not frighten them.

“Why is Edi Rama doing this? Because he is desperate, but let one thing be clear: We will not stop! You cannot frighten us, neither with recordings nor with Taulants, neither with crime nor with oligarchs, nor with your media outlets, which you finance with the money of Albanian citizens,” Shehaj concluded.
