Rama receives champion Nelson Hysa at the Prime Minister’s Office: You Democrats broke my nose

Prime Minister Edi Rama held a meeting at the Prime Minister’s Office with Albanian boxer Nelson Hysa, who recorded another triumph in the ring a few days ago.

In his latest bout, Hysa defeated Norway’s Thomas Narmo within two rounds, retaining his title and his unbeaten record.

With this success, his record now stands at 25 wins and no losses.

During the visit, the Albanian champion presented Rama with a pair of boxing gloves. The prime minister also commented on the meeting on social media, writing: “Nelson, the Albanian Eagle who knows no defeat, and me together with Democrat Zef Gjoni, fighting only for victory.”

Hysa explained to Rama that his latest challenge came after an 11-month absence from the ring. He added that the Norwegian opponent had a physical advantage, as he was taller and heavier.

“Norwegian, 7 cm taller and heavier. He was the favorite, to tell you the truth. They had chosen him to take my title. Fortunately, things went well. I lost the first round, but the second round went very well,” the boxer said during the conversation.

Nelson Hysa also announced that he is ranked in the top four across his four divisions in the world rankings.

The meeting also included some humor. At one point, Rama addressed boxing coach Zef Gjoni, saying: “You Democrats broke my nose.”
