Protester calls for referendum: Citizens are sovereign, change must come without Rama and Berisha

During the 47th protest against Rama, a young man called for a referendum to be held, arguing that citizens should be the ones to decide the country’s future.

He stated that the people are sovereign and that history has been written by ordinary people. According to the protester, citizens’ resistance has brought real change for the country, while the protest has drawn the attention of the entire world and is also being covered outside Albania.

The young man called for change without individuals with criminal records, without Rama and without Berisha. He described the protesters’ resistance as the “black day” of Edi Rama and Sali Berisha, calling for both of them to end up in prison.

Repeating that citizens are sovereign and that they will win, the protester said that no prime minister who behaves like an owner can steal the dreams of citizens and the wonderful youth. In conclusion, he warned of greater participation the following day.
