Meanwhile, 4 other protesters have completed treatment at the “Mother Teresa” University Hospital Center and have been discharged, with instructions to continue receiving medical care on an outpatient basis.
The current toll stands at 11 injured people, of whom 7 are still in the emergency department, while 4 have been discharged after receiving the necessary treatment.
The injuries were reported after the situation escalated during the protest in the capital, where clashes between the crowd and police forces were accompanied by the use of tear gas and other means to disperse the protesters.
