Prosecution reveals disturbing details about woman’s killing in Prizren; 81-year-old husband suspected

The Basic Prosecution Office in Prizren has disclosed shocking circumstances surrounding the death of a woman, for which her 81-year-old husband, Bardhi Dushi, is suspected of being responsible.

According to the prosecution’s report, the incident occurred yesterday, at around 00:05, in the apartment where the couple lived in Prizren.

The request for the imposition of pretrial detention states that, following a verbal altercation with his wife, the suspect allegedly physically assaulted her, striking her and slamming her head against the floor several times.

As a result, the woman sustained multiple injuries to her head and other parts of her body, wounds that caused her death at the scene, the prosecution said.

After the incident, the suspect allegedly attempted to remove traces, while later notifying family members of what had happened.

The Basic Prosecution Office in Prizren has asked the court to impose 30 days of pretrial detention on the suspect. He is currently being held for 48 hours.
