Plenary Session Today to Assess Work of SPAK, KLGJ, KLP and Other Institutions

This Monday, the Albanian Parliament will hold its next plenary session, where MPs are expected to review a series of draft laws, draft resolutions, and annual reports of constitutional and justice institutions.

The session will begin with the approval of the minutes of the meeting of 16 July 2026 and relevant announcements, after which the Report of the National Council for European Integration for 2025 will be presented.

The agenda also includes the review of the draft law “On European Cooperative Societies (ECS)”.

A significant part of the session will be dedicated to the discussion and approval of draft resolutions evaluating the activity of key independent institutions and the justice system for 2025. Among them are:

People’s Advocate;

High Judicial Council (KLGJ);

High Prosecutorial Council (KLP);

State Supreme Audit (KLSH);

General Prosecutor’s Office;

Special Structure against Corruption and Organized Crime (SPAK);

High Inspector of Justice (ILD).

Meanwhile, a civic protest has been announced outside the Parliament, as organizers of the resistance have called for a rally in front of the Parliament during the plenary session.
