The fifth batch of declassified documents on unidentified aerial phenomena (UFOs/UAPs) was made public by Donald Trump’s administration on Friday. The materials contain reports, photographs and videos featuring evidence collected over the years about mysterious objects.
The files include accounts of large triangular structures flying silently, unexplained metallic spheres, as well as incidents reported by military pilots and civilian witnesses. However, the documentation does not present verified evidence proving that the objects were of extraterrestrial origin.

One of the most unusual accounts comes from a military pilot who said that in 2002 he observed a triangular object about 152 meters wide over Bagram Airfield in Afghanistan. According to his account, the object flew silently, had no visible lights, and maintained its altitude and speed. As it passed by, it appeared to block the view of the stars.
Another case included in the documents concerns Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and dates back to 1963. Witnesses claimed that a metallic sphere fell to the ground and created a hole about four meters deep. The report also states that the object contained a body with human-like features, dressed in clothing displaying indecipherable symbols. The file is based on testimony and media reports from the time, without official confirmation.
The documentation also contains an FBI report on an incident in Colorado Springs in October 2023. A witness stated that he had seen a large black triangular object with one red light at each of its three corners. In his description, the object moved without producing any noise, changed course in an unusual manner, and then departed with very high acceleration.
A report from the same area also came from a couple who said they had observed a smaller, almost transparent triangular object. According to them, it moved within a light fog and disappeared after only a few seconds.
Another section of the files is devoted to analyzing footage filmed over Utah and Montana in the early 1950s. Analysts assessed that the objects in the videos may have reached extremely high speeds and unusual accelerations. The report’s authors nevertheless clarified that the calculations depend on assumptions about the objects’ distance from the camera and therefore cannot be treated as certain conclusions.
In another documented incident, two people said they saw red lights over an isolated area in the western United States. One of them claimed that his mechanical watch had advanced by 25 minutes compared with the other devices, while his phone and the other watches continued to display the correct time.
US authorities emphasize that the published materials are compilations of reports, testimony and data collected over the years. The release of the files does not mean that the extraterrestrial origin of the objects described has been proven. In most cases, the documents merely record witnesses’ statements without reaching a definitive conclusion about the nature of the phenomena.
