Operation against drug cultivation in Krujë, cannabis seedlings and plants burned

In the early hours of the morning, an operation was launched in the territory of the Krujë district to prevent and crack down on the cultivation of narcotic plants.

During this action, police forces carried out checks both in the field and in enclosed premises, focusing particular attention on the administrative unit of Cudhi.

According to the official statement, during the operation a considerable number of cannabis seedlings and narcotic plants were discovered and then destroyed by burning.

At the same time, police services also inspected enclosed premises where there are suspicions that cannabis may be cultivated using special lamps.

In cooperation with OSHEE, checks are also being carried out in areas considered high-risk for the cultivation of narcotic substances.

Police said the operation will continue and will also be expanded to other administrative units in the Krujë district.
