New US ambassador Eric Wendt presents his credentials to President Begaj! Begaj: US, an indispensable partner for the national interest

On Saturday, Eric Wendt presented his credentials to President Bajram Begaj, officially beginning his work as the United States ambassador to Albania.

In a press release, the Presidency stated that President Bajram Begaj had accepted the new ambassador’s credentials and later held a one-on-one meeting with him.

According to the Presidency, the Head of State reaffirmed Albania’s determination to strengthen its strategic partnership with the United States.

President Begaj also described the United States as an indispensable partner for Albania’s national interest, while stressing that Tirana would continue working to deepen relations.

“The United States is an indispensable partner for advancing national interests,” President Begaj emphasized.

The President of the Republic, H.E. Mr. Bajram Begaj, received the new Ambassador of the United States of America to Albania, H.E. Mr. Eric Wendt, on the occasion of the presentation of his credentials.

The President of the Republic accepted the credentials from the US ambassador and wished him success during his term.

The Head of State reaffirmed Albania’s determination to strengthen its strategic partnership with the United States of America.

In this context, President Begaj said that Albania would continue to be fully engaged in deepening relations, based on the priorities of its foreign policy and the responsibilities arising from the close relationship.

“The United States is an indispensable partner for advancing national interests,” President Begaj emphasized.

Following the official credentials ceremony, President Begaj held a one-on-one meeting with Ambassador Wendt.
