Muçollari: Berisha Heads to the US as Rama Faces Legal Proceedings

Democratic Party Presidency member Grigels Muçollari has commented on social media about developments concerning Albanian politics’ relations with the United States of America.

According to Muçollari, Edi Rama has used America for years as an instrument of pressure against the opposition, presenting it as a sphere under his influence, just like the justice system, parliament, media and civil society.

He claims that through Soros’s influence and corrupt inducements, the prime minister turned the US into a tool for attacking his political opponents, causing harm to the Democratic Party and the opposition.

Muçollari says that the Democrats opposed this situation and continued their confrontation because, in his view, they knew that America could not be what Edi Rama had portrayed it as. He describes the previous developments as the result of circumstances, lobbying and corruption.

As evidence that the situation has changed, he cites the fact that Sali Berisha is no longer persona non grata and is traveling to the US to attend a Republican event.

At the same time, Muçollari says that Edi Rama is mentioned in two legal proceedings in the US. One of them is related to the case against McGonigal, the former senior FBI official, whom he claims was used by the prime minister to attack the Democratic Party.

According to Muçollari, Rama is also mentioned in a case in Miami, where his friend Roni Yeffet has been sued for fraud. According to the plaintiff, Yeffet used Edi Rama to obtain several million from him.

The Democratic Party Presidency member adds that the prime minister was also mentioned by major American media outlets following the entry into a business partnership of President Trump’s son-in-law with a gangster wanted by the justice authorities.

“Things seem to be falling into place,” Muçollari writes, describing the situation as a kind of reversal.
