Mother Teresa University faces shortage of space, solution sought until campus is built

The growing number of students at Mother Teresa University in Skopje has worsened the need for new facilities, while construction of the new university campus has yet to begin.

To address the situation, the university rectorate has asked government institutions to support the renovation and adaptation of the buildings currently in use.

Rector Bekim Fetahu estimates that the available facilities do not meet the university’s needs. He stressed that, until the new campus is completed, a temporary solution must be secured for one faculty, which will be relocated to another building.

“One of the faculties must be relocated to another building for an indefinite period, until the new university campus is built,” Fetahu said.

The rectorate emphasizes that growing interest and the higher number of students have made it urgent to address the lack of space. For this reason, it is calling for intervention by the institutions to improve the existing conditions until the new campus of Mother Teresa University is completed.
