Mimoza Musa Meets Spanish State Secretary for the EU: Spain’s Support Carries Weight in North Macedonia’s European Progress

Mimoza Musa, a VLEN MP and member of the Committee on European Affairs in the Assembly of North Macedonia, met with Fernando Mariano Sampedro Marcos, the Kingdom of Spain’s State Secretary for the European Union.

Musa announced that, in her capacity as an MP and member of the Committee on European Affairs, she took part in the meeting with Fernando Mariano Sampedro Marcos.

The talks focused on the country’s European future, the enlargement of the European Union, and the need to take advantage of the current circumstances to achieve further progress in European integration.

The VLEN MP expressed particular appreciation for Spain’s unwavering support for North Macedonia’s European perspective. According to Musa, as an influential EU member state, Spain can play a significant role in advancing the country’s path toward full membership in the European family.

She also stressed that the enlargement of the European Union benefits all parties and that the continent’s future lies in a more united and stronger Europe founded on shared values.

According to Musa’s statement, the meeting provided an opportunity to strengthen dialogue and cooperation between North Macedonia and Spain through the exchange of experiences and best practices.
