The country’s Prime Minister, Hristijan Mickoski, said he expects oil and petrol prices to fall next week.

He said the expectation is based on an analysis of price changes on the exchanges over the past week. Mickoski explained that the situation is being monitored by the government, while the final decision rests with the Energy Regulatory Commission.
In addition, the prime minister announced that talks are under way with the company “OKTA” to secure a further reduction in prices.
“We are negotiating with the largest supplier of oil and oil derivatives, above all diesel and unleaded fuels, ‘OKTA,’ for an additional discount, which would make us clearly the country with the lowest fuel prices in the region, and perhaps even with the lowest prices in Europe,” Mickoski said.
