Mickoski warns: Electricity prices will not change and could even decrease

Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski said that work is under way on a new methodology for electricity, with the aim of keeping tariffs unchanged or even reducing them. He made the comments in response to a question about the possibility of price changes.

According to him, the country will face a stable winter from an energy perspective.

“Since we took over the government, the price of electricity for household consumers has not recorded any actual increase, even though we have faced major challenges and the most severe energy crisis since the Gulf War, which humanity remembers,” Mickoski stressed. He added that, despite these difficulties, the current situation is stable and that the coming winter will pass without problems.
