Prime Minister Mickoski announced that the average salary in the country has continued to rise. According to him, the net salary in July climbed to 48,499 denars, marking an annual nominal increase of 7.1 percent.

He said that the government’s objective is for the average salary to reach €1,000 or slightly more than 60,000 denars by the end of its term.
The current government’s four-year term ends in spring 2028. The executive was formed following the elections held in May 2024.
Mickoski also said that during the three months of the third quarter, July, August and September, the cost of living increased by 2.3 to 2.7 percent, or slightly more than 2.5 percent. He stressed that in the European Union, this average was above 3.8 percent, or 25% lower than the increase recorded within the European Union.
