The escalation of the conflict in the Middle East has put pressure on global markets, pushing oil prices back to $100 per barrel and raising concerns about possible supply disruptions.

Brent crude rose by 2.3% and temporarily reached $100 per barrel. At the same time, U.S. crude oil, WTI, traded at around $94. Since the beginning of the year, both benchmarks have risen by more than 60%.
One of the main concerns is the Strait of Hormuz, a corridor of particular importance for the international transport of oil. Military developments have increased pressure on tanker traffic in the area.
The effects of rising oil prices are also being felt in fuel prices, placing an additional burden on consumers and adding to inflationary pressures in global economies.
Meanwhile, the consequences have also spread to financial markets. Investors are closely monitoring the situation in the Middle East and the impact it could have on global energy supplies.
