Manaj: Verification of Signatures in LDK Nearing Completion

LDK Presidency member Shkëmb Manaj has spoken about the verification of signatures collected to convene an extraordinary assembly of the party, at which Lumir Abdixhiku’s dismissal will be sought.

According to Manaj, the Commission has completed the main part of the verification process, with only several delegates who have not yet come forward remaining. Once this phase is completed, the date for holding the Assembly is expected to be set.

“The Commission has completed the bulk of the verification work. Only several delegates who have not come forward remain; once that part is completed as well, the date of the Assembly will be set,” Manaj stated.

Responding to a question about when the Assembly could be convened, he said the decision rests with LDK leader Lumir Abdixhiku and is linked to the completion of the verification procedure.

“It is the decision of the LDK leader, based on the process being completed. The verification is nearing its end,” Manaj said.

In his previous statements, Manaj had announced that the extraordinary Assembly would be held before August 7.
