LSDM calls for an institutional investigation into the case of Janushev’s Bulgarian company

LSDM said today that Hristijan Mickoski’s government is facing another serious scandal.

According to the party, documents published by media outlets in Bulgaria show that the Government’s Secretary-General, Igor Janushev, described as Mickoski’s closest associate, is linked to the company “FLUGBAN TRANS” DOO, based in Kyustendil, Bulgaria.

According to the information cited, the company is engaged in road freight transport, while in its ownership and management structure, according to LSDM, there are people close to Mickoski’s circle and VMRO-DPMNE.

LSDM stresses that the main problem lies in the fact that in the questionnaires submitted to the State Commission for the Prevention of Corruption, there is no publicly available information showing that Janushev declared ties to a company in Bulgaria.

For this reason, according to them, the case requires an immediate response from the institutions.

The party is calling on the SCPC, the Public Prosecutor’s Office and all competent institutions to immediately launch proceedings, verify every fact and determine whether there is undeclared property, capital or business interest abroad, and why.

According to LSDM, the public deserves answers to this simple question.

Furthermore, the party believes that the case highlights, as they put it, all the hypocrisy of Mickoski and VMRO-DPMNE, as well as their false narrative.

As LSDM states, while citizens are being told that their identity is under threat, they themselves have Bulgarian passports and are Bulgarian citizens who conduct business through Bulgarian companies.

According to LSDM, they pursue business interests in Bulgaria, do not face hours-long waits at the border and, at the same time, are obstructing Macedonia’s European integration, as well as blocking EU funds through the funds./Telegrafi/
