Lack of quorum prevents meeting of the Committee on the Rights and Interests of Communities and Return

The Committee on the Rights and Interests of Communities and Return was unable to hold its meeting because the required quorum was not secured.

The committee’s chair, Vetëvendosje Movement MP Farush Rexhepi, said that the invitations and materials had been sent to members on time. However, the insufficient number of participants prevented the meeting from proceeding.

He explained that the committee consists of 12 members and that at least seven of them must be present for the meeting to take place. “There is no quorum, and in the absence of a quorum, we cannot hold the meeting,” Rexhepi emphasized.

Rexhepi also suggested creating a WhatsApp communication group for members to facilitate communication and coordination among them.
