Kosovo Participates in the Ukraine Recovery Conference in Gdansk

The Ukraine Recovery Conference 2026 is being held in Gdańsk, Poland, organized this year jointly by the Government of Poland and the Government of Ukraine, once again demonstrating that Ukraine’s recovery process has not been left until after the end of the war.

At this conference, the Republic of Kosovo is represented by Ambassador Drilon S. Gashi, head of the Mission of the Consulate General of the Republic of Kosovo in Warsaw, on behalf of the state of Kosovo and acting president Albulena Haxhiu, as well as on behalf of the Government of Kosovo and acting prime minister Albin Kurti.

As Ukraine continues its resistance against Russia’s unprovoked and unjustifiable aggression, its partners are engaging in rebuilding infrastructure, encouraging investment, strengthening institutions, and supporting economic development. The conference brings together governments, international organizations, financial institutions, and business representatives, with the aim of translating political support into concrete reconstruction projects and long-term investments.

The Recovery Conference also sends an important signal of the international community’s uninterrupted commitment to Ukraine’s sovereignty, resilience, and European perspective. Jointly organized by Poland and Ukraine, it highlights the strategic role of regional partners, especially Poland, in Ukraine’s recovery process. In conclusion, the conference conveys the message that security, reconstruction, and European integration must advance in parallel so that Ukraine emerges stronger from this war.
